Nigerian CHIDI OBEDIKWUAKAM Goes to Immigration to be Sent Home
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia Breaking News: On August 8, 2017, a Nigerian man, 35-year-old CHIDI OBEDIKWUAKAM, went to the Phnom Penh Municipal Police's Immigration Office, asking to be sent back to his country of origin because he has no passport and is unable to pay for a new passport or a visa.
He said he arrived in Cambodia in August 2017 at Phnom Penh International Airport, intending to stay with his friends in Stung Meanchey, but his passport was stolen by a fellow Nigerian who has now disappeared.
The man's case was submitted to the Department of Investigation and Implementation of the Immigration Department for further procedures.
