Newborn Baby Was Born Inside Out With All Her Organs Outside Her Body

The newborn baby was born with organs outside of her body. The newborn baby died shortly after she was born.

Mondolkiri: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, The newborn baby was born with organs outside of her body and she died shortly after birth. She was born inside out with her heart, liver, stomach, lung and bowel outside of her body.

This shocking moment happened in Keo Sema health center located in Sre Katum commune, Keo Sema district, around 4:00 pm on 16 December 2015. Doctor said the newborn baby was born half body with all her organs outside of her body. She died shortly after birth and she was weight 1.80 Kg.

This is the second time that this kind of shocking happened in Keo Sema district. Last time there was a newborn baby was born with two skulls.

It's sad for many women in the rural area. It was not coincident . The mother should have checked her baby every month and take pills follow the Dr to make sure that their baby will be healthy.

Way back in the 1970s, a family friend (who used to babysit us for extended periods when my parents were abroad etc) gave birth to a boy whose organs were outside his abdominal cavity. There had only been one previous case on record of this in France, and that infant had died. Luckily her father was wealthy, as her husband had left already. The boy had some pioneering surgery done, which cost a fortune. He grew up to be a very healthy and successful guy, he'd be around 42 now. We are still in touch with both of them.

A friend told me that during the process of baby,especially the beginning of three months. the mum have to be healthy and take some vitamins or some kind of pills that help producing full body of the baby. Many women in the rural area don't get healthy food so when they are pregnant,it will effect on their baby.

^ This is not the result of lack of vitamins, or poor diet, but those factors can result in poor development of the unborn child.

Unless it was caused by factors like polluted ground water or contact with pesticides during pregnancy. Could be just bad luck, but if environmental factors are a possible cause, then this is information that should be made available. I suppose with the lack of viable statistics it's difficult to see if foetal malformation is a particular problem in this area of the country, but the OP mentioned that a baby had been born with 2 heads in the region recently and that's what made me wonder if there is something more than bad luck and lack of prenatal care.

Of course it is vital for a mother to have good nourishment during a pregnancy. This type of case has little or nothing to do with that, it's just a mutation or malformation and could happen even in the best circumstances. How the condition is treated and the quality of follow up health-care available will be crucial to the survival of any child born with major malformations like this. My friend was lucky enough to have cutting-edge surgery available and a rich benefactor to pay the huge bills.
