Naive Students Give their Jewelry to Man Because He Asks for It.

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Kandal, Cambodia News: A 31-year-old man, Khem Reng, was arrested on November 07, 2018, for scamming some students to get their jewelry in Brobst village, Angsnoul District, Kandal.

The suspect had a cunning ploy; he talked to 4 students who were coming out of their school, lying to them that he knew their parents, and he said that their parents wanted them to take off their jewelry and give to him because he was a jewelry maker. The kids believed him, and they gave all their jewelry to the suspect.

The suspect has been detained for case preparation before his appearance in court.
