More kids drown in pond - don't ask questions.

Two Children Drown in Battambang

Two children drowned in Battambang City yesterday afternoon after a group of four friends aged from 11 to 13 went swimming unsupervised in a pond in the center of the city.
He said an 11-year-old boy and girl were pulled from the water alive, but a 10-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl were pronounced dead at the scene.
“None of the children could swim,” he noted, explaining that they had not told their parents they were going to swim...

Child drowning data in Cambodia is hard to obtain. Deputy provincial police chief San Hak dismissed questions on the number of children who drowned in his province as “pointless.”
“We normally [tally the number who drowned] each year, at the end of the year. How can I remember the data from last year? I have hundreds of pieces of work to do, it is a pointless question,” he said.

A 2014 World Health Organization report “Global Report on Drowning” did not include data for Cambodia and stressed that drowning data was difficult to obtain from developing countries. The report stated that this lack of data hinders efforts to improve safety and awareness.

It noted that a lack of supervision for young children, who in most cases have not be taught how to swim, is a major drowning risk.

The NGO SwimSafe estimates that six children drown in Cambodia every day, only one less than neighboring Thailand, which is significantly more populous. According to the NGO, drowning is the greatest killer of children over the age of one.

Well that report would get them off the hook. I wonder [ in the kingdom of wonder ] if the use the same sort of reporting for trafficking and prostitution.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Take the quiz:
Drowning: do you know enough about this global killer? – quiz

Hundreds of thousands of people drown every year. Many deaths go unrecorded, however, and pressure to teach people to swim is not what it might be...
