Monivong by the Vietnamese Embassy Closed Today

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Monivong by the Vietnamese Embassy Closed Today

Post by Sir_Quality_U_Feel »

This morning on the way to work, I had to detour because Monivong all the way near Mao Tse Toung was barricaded off. Some very very small protest trying to happened outside the Vietnamese embassy. What a pain in the ass. I drove home this evening when all was clear. I looked on the sidewalks and of course they were freaking trashed with rubbish and litter.

What was going on. For the sake of our discussions here, I won't google it. :)
I'll give ya 500 Riel for it...

Was it like a British Fun Fair, namely invade a small field and fill it with hundreds of caravans and annoying stealing fucking pikeys?

Tuesday morning at 10.30 it looked like this. Our bus was stopped and had to turn around and take a different route.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Just came home from work... Blocked again. I drove up and there was not a protest. Just 15 min ago it was like 15 monks and maybe 20 people just lingering in the street. What the fuck!
