I worked for 30 years in uk for the same company.i was always paid weekly.they had and still have over 50,000 employees worlwide.you had a choice weekly or monthly.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 6:59 pm I do. However, where I'm from people get paid weekly or every two weeks. No one ever gets paid monthly (must be a law), so I always thought it was ludicrous to be paid on a monthly basis. I realize that in the UK, getting paid monthly is standard, so Brits might prefer that. I find it's easier to manage money when paid regularly, so always thought it would be advantageous for staff who are on the lower end of the pay scale. That's just me though. If they're not used to it they might not like it, and I also get that some people like to receive a big chunk of change all at once.

This is a two week thing right? What day will people start going to the temples? My girlfriend usually goes on day one.

Working with a large German contingent I can assure you that being paid monthly is not some Brexit bullshit, it's standard across Europe.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 6:59 pm I do.
