Farmer’s herd of cows prematurely butchered
Tue, 19 April 2016

A Stung Treng farmer awoke yesterday morning to find his cows missing.

After searching for some time, he stumbled across their disembowelled corpses in a nearby rice paddy.

Their heads, internal organs and thighs had been removed, and it is believed they were taken to be sold at market.

The farmer has filed a complaint with the local Sesan district police.

i remember seeing an exactly the same incident happen a few months ago, serial rogue butcher out there

On a completely unrelated note, I have come into possession 90KG of Cambodian beef.

on a completely unrelated note, i did a shift at my friends bar last night on the square, theres nothing worse than watching people get pissed when youre not, even worse when youre serving them the drinks! think im going to stick to keeping the other side of the bar

Unlike many European countries here in Cambodia and many other countries the offall is worth more than the meat. Their is no price difference between the loin or silverside in the market here.Makes poaching very easy I would imagine !
