Military Officer's House Burgled in Sihanoukville
Sihanoukville, Cambodia News: On November 23, 2018,a burglary took place at a military officer's house at 01:05 am, Sangkat 1, Sihanoukville. The thief was identified as Lay Sophon, a 29-year-old construction worker, who stole a Toyota Fortune car, plate no. PP2BA-2718, a gun, and some money from the premises.
The police said that the victim, Kim Heang, a 45-year-old military officer, was victim of a robbery when he left his home in charge of the maid and went to Vietnam. The 55-year-old maid, Chea Sieng, got tied up by the thieves. The police are investigating the case.
