Not enough fuel for a 12-16 hr + 10-12 hr stretch. At least from here.

It's a scraper site, the only difference is in the fees or the fact it rounds up the pennies. So I've just looked for MEL PNH, it quoted me £431. It is actually £430.59. That took me about 20 seconds.Beerinthemorning wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 3:10 pmYeh im wrong of course, if only the we could change fact that im probly the most frequent flyer on this site and have been through over 5 passports already......cptrelentless wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 3:04 pmYou're obviously doing it wrong.Beerinthemorning wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 5:25 am Skyskanner is full if shit, 99.9999% of there results end up in the wrong price.

I also don't think that the large aircraft taking off from Phnom Penh could fly long distances eg. direct to the USAnewkidontheblock wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 9:28 am Not enough fuel for a 12-16 hr + 10-12 hr stretch. At least from here.
Qatar operate Airbus A330 aircraft Phnom Penh - Siagon (Ho Chi Minh) - Doha so can refuel in Siagon (SGN) and
Emirates operates 777 aircraft Phnom Penh - Rangoon (Yangon) - Dubai.
Air France used to operate flights to Paris but I understand the route was flown via Bangkok.

I often use Skyscanner and have found it one of the best airline booking sites. However, I have noticed a few of the air fares do increase when you go to book them.cptrelentless wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 3:23 pmIt's a scraper site, the only difference is in the fees or the fact it rounds up the pennies. However, this seems to apply only to a small percentage of bookings and therefore still use Skyscanner to book most of my flights.
My only other complaint about Skyscanner is that some of the airfares in Cambodia and Vietnam are over priced and it is cheaper to book direct with the airline or use a local agent. I think this problem occurs because the English travel agents Skyscanner direct me to are trying to over charge!

They don't stop in SGN or Yangon for refuel purpose. Although most likely they do it as fuel price in PP is higher. But PP airport runway is long enough for fully loaded A330 to take-off.Kentish Man wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 4:59 pmI also don't think that the large aircraft taking off from Phnom Penh could fly long distances eg. direct to the USAnewkidontheblock wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 9:28 am Not enough fuel for a 12-16 hr + 10-12 hr stretch.
