Because of the driver was sleepy? It is one of good company and director said that they always let their sleep enough before driving. So why still sleepy? No one to talk with?

Yes. If they are wrong about that, FreshNews could not have said something much more damaging about a company that has built its reputation on extra safety and comfort.

Naive assumption about the Cambodian justice system.

I see. I just wonder if they sleep enough , but no one talks with them, will they get sleepy easily?

People who tire easily and fall asleep at the steering wheel without a talking companion should perhaps not seek employment as long haul bus drivers responsible for the well being of 42 seatbelt-less people.

Highway 1, like the others, doesn't exactly lend itself to daydreaming, let alone falling asleep. It's constant barrage of motos, cows, rotary hoes, u turning cars and whatever else finds its way into the road. Anyone that can fall asleep in daylight hours in between dodging all that must be really, really tired.

I don't know about Mekong Express, but I think the other deluxe bus company, Giant Ibis, has a driver's assistant on board to help assure things like falling asleep at the wheel don't happen.

Almost 40 passengers were injured when their Mekong Express bus crashed in Svay Rieng province after its driver fell asleep at the wheel, according to police.

The bus was traveling from Phnom Penh to the Bavet border checkpoint along National Road 1 when it crashed at 11am, provincial traffic police chief Ouch Saron said. Thirty-five people were injured in the crash, 27 of whom were foreign nationals. Police described all the injuries as minor and not needing hospital treatment, however, and reported no fatalities in the crash.

“As of the afternoon, all passengers were transferred to another bus and ended up crossing the border to Vietnam after the accident with support from the company,” Mr. Saron said, adding that the driver who likely caused the crash after he fell asleep at the wheel had fled the wreck and was still at large.

Yes, there's usually a jockey that rides along to help. Maybe this one's jockey was asleep already.
