Man on a Motorbike Hits a Water Buffalo in Preah Vihear Province and Dies at the Scene

A man riding his motorbike (licence plate number 1H-9758) in Preah Vihear Province hit a water buffalo around 8pm on March 5, 2016.

Authorities are saying it's also possible the man and the water buffalo were hit by a larger vehicle who fled.

Reporter Huy Bunleng says the man died at the scene.

Lordy. That's not something you see every day.

The guy should have steered clear. Maybe his motorbke was moooving too fast. He should have driven slower because he had alot at steak. And the buffalo should have honked it's horns. The buffalo was covered in protective leather gear, but it didn't seem to help much. The poor buffalo had no place to hide.

I've had excellent buffalo steak in Batambang. I would have guessed it was imported steak, it was that good.

Maybe they tenderized the steak by ramming motorbikes into the buffalo?

there is no way the motorbike could have killed the water buffalo, i have seen with my own eyes a highlander hit a cow on road 4, the cow walks away unscathed while the grille of highlander is totally smashed

Yeah I assumed he hit the already dead carcass.
