Cambodia News (Svay Rieng): On October 29, 2019, at 5:20 pm, a 25-year-old Vietnamese man, VU THANH TUNG, was arrested for kidnapping a man and holding him hostage in room 2115 at Ground Casino, Bavet City, Svay Rieng. The victim was identified as Tran Van Cahn, a 35-year-old Vietnamese man.

The victim borrowed US$3,000 from the suspect to go gambling, and then he lost all the money at the casino in Bavet and could not repay his debt. So then, the money-lender locked him up and asked the victim's family to pay his debt.
The suspect was arrested for case preparation following the legal procedure.

Remind me to go gambling - borrow heaps off the triads - then complain to the locals for "help"

Seems this scam is working.

Naga it is then - tomorrow with 100k on the tab..

Naga is no good, those pokey little jerry-built joints in Bavet/ Popiet and "Westport" pay much better returns.
