Man Detained for Theft from Chinese Company
Oddar Meanchey, Cambodia News: On April 30, 2019, at 02:00 pm, the Cambodian criminal police received orders to intercept a 27-year-old Chinese man, YU WENTONG, working at O'smach resort. The suspect is accused of stealing 400,000 yuan* via a bank account in China.
After questioning, the suspect confessed that he is guilty of stealing 400,0000 yuan* (almost US$60,000) via a company bank account when he was working for the Chinese company. The case of the suspect has been prepared following the legal procedure.
Edit *The amount of stolen money has been corrected from 40,000 yuan to 400,000 yuan.
