Man attacked by a mob

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Never pass up an opportunity to sucker punch whitey, especially if everyone else is doing it. You don't want to be left out.

That footage could be used for assault charges.

Street 51???

Those tuk tuks are all animals just waiting to pounce.

I guess this is part of the area clean up to make GSM a more desired destination.

That barang was far too lenient. I would have got involved a lot sooner if someone was pushing my Mrs around, even if I would have had a mob descend on me. I would love to know what starts this all but my guess is the drunk khmer dude saying something derogatory to the khmer lass about being with a barang. Happens far too often.

All class in Rue Pasteur. Why didn't the barang just give him a good whack right at the start. Either punch the cunt or walk away, there is no point in hanging around to get beaten.

I thought the Barang handled it very well. It's all very well saying just knock the guy out at the start, but as we saw, you take one out and before you know it, you have a baying mob to deal with. He held off as long as he could. I'd have probably handled it exactly the same way.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

typical bunch of thugs can't fight for shit all run in to give a quick cheap shot and run off. Maybe the drunk was mouthing off about her being with a barang, when she should have been with a real wife beating drunk Khmer man like him.

Agree he should have just walked away there is no need when a group of pussies are around to jump in. Nobody cared about the drunk trying to hit the Khmer girl but as soon as he gave him a little tap on his head they all jumped in. Although why anyone is walking around there at any time of day is beyond me, he didnt look like the usual patron of GSM
