Man Arrested for Trafficking 1,007 Methamphetamine Pills
Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia News: On August 28, Lieutenant Tang Sokheng, the commander of the royal gendarmerie in Malai district, cracked down on drug trafficking and arrested a 47-year-old man, Jim Cheun, on national road 59, Ousam village, Malai district, Banteay Meanchey.
The police confiscated 1,007 pills of methamphetamine drug, as well as a phone and a motorbike. After the arrest and questioning, the suspect confessed that this was the sixth time that he had brought drugs from Battambang to sell in Malai district.
The police have been preparing the suspect's case to submit to court.
