Cambodia News, (Kompong Thom province): 3 people died horribly as they were struck by lightning and 5 others were severely injured on the afternoon of May 27, 2021 at the farm of Toulong Thom village, Komkir village, Kompong Thom province, during a heavy thunderstorm.
All live in the village at Bos Veng village, Sectional commune, Prasat Bolongk district.

3. Name: Eem Srean, male aged 45 (dead)
4. name is Sous Kim, male age 58 (light injury)
5. name is Preum Leat male age 67 (light injury)
6. name is Thouk Nil male age 58 (serious injury)
7. Name: Sien Yon, 35-year-old male (serious injury)
8. Name: Khon Khan, male, age (light injury)
Source: Police Department said that the accident victims went to work outside, but there was a heavy rain, so the 7 victims ran for shelter and that is where they were all struck by a lightning leaving 3 people dead and 5 injured.
After a local police report, the local authorities went down to check the scene, and the severely and lightly injured victims were taken to hospital. The bodies were given back to the families for funeral rites.
