Lexus Suffers Hit From Gold Tower

Phnom Penh, Cambodia Breaking News: This afternoon, at 1:00 pm on July 31, 2019, in Boeung Reang commune, Daun Penh district, Phnom Penh, a parked Lexus car was nailed by a falling metal rod from the 42-story Gold Tower building under construction.

The car was badly damaged, but no injuries were reported. The police arrived at the scene to coordinate compensation from the company to the car owner. The amount of compensation was not revealed.

Unlucky car really did get impaled in the heart

Thank goodness no one got killed. The wind at about that time today was very vicious..I was about to go out and took one look out the balcony and thought...nope.

Gold Tower 42, under construction?...I'm not in town at the moment and havent been for a while but I lived a stone's throw from it a while ago. Back then, it was just a monstrous white elephant with no action at all going on but is it finally going to be finished? Anyone know the story? Who started it? Why did it stop? Who's running the deal now? Why is it attacking a poor innocent lexus?
