Landmine found near the ticket stall in Angkor Park Area

Siem Reap:According to Kampuchea Thmey News, An unexploded landmine or UO was found lying on the trail to the Cambodian Military Landmine Museum located in Angkor Park area near the ticket stall.

The landmine was found around 7:00 am on 18 August 2015 in Angkor Part area in the north of ticket stall.
Mr. Heng Rathana, the director of Cambodia Mine Action Center said on phone, the landmine that was found this morning is a landmine for using to against human, OZM4, made in Russia. This landmine can be in two ways.

However, CMAC already brought that landmine to store in a safe place.

Mr. Bun Narin the director of Apsara authority said, this event didn’t really frighten the tourists at all and so far the Apsara authority has not determined the suspect who left the landmine there yet.
