We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Cambodia News(Phnom Penh): On April 8, 2021, at 1:10 am, a ladyboy who was in a group of 3 suspects got arrested for stealing many cases of seafood, at Chouk Meas market, in Sangkat Krang Thnong, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.

According to a teenage boy who guards his shop every night near a seafood shop where suspects often steal the seafood, the owner got sick of the theft so he put a security camera to search for the suspect.
Then on April 08, 2021, three suspects arrived on a motorbike to break into the seafood shop again. When the young boy saw the suspects, he screamed for help to catch them. One of the suspects, who identifies as transgender, got caught and sent to the police. The other two suspects ran away to escape.

The suspect confessed that he/she often stole that seafood for eating and sale. The suspect was sent to Krang Thnong police station for questioning following the legal procedure.

Is it just me, or does every crime post at the moment happen past the curfew, ending up with a rabble of people hanging about with the old bill...

Well, I do think it's an unintended consequence....that the streets are a lot more dangerous during curfew with so little people out.

With empty streets after 8, probably a consequence of thieves having less victims to rob. It's called plan b.

It's not just lady boys
Put anything in the way between a Khmer a fish and there is going to a crime committed.

At home
"Yes Darling, any kind of fish you want for dinner tonight"

That way, i figure I ain't never gonna get murdered in Cambodia.
