Ladyboy Arrested After Stealing iPhone With a Coat Hanger

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On November 19, 2018, at 03:40 am, a 25-year-old ladyboy, Oeun Mao, was arrested for stealing a phone from a university student living at Botum Vatey Pagoda, Phnom Penh. The victim has been identified as Eng Pirun, 25-years-old.

The police said the suspect poked a clothes hanger through the window at the pagoda where the victim was staying, and managed to hook his iPhone 7 and steal it, before making a fast getaway on foot.
The victim went to file a complaint at Chatomok police post, before assisting the police in a search for the suspect, who was eventually found with the victim's phone in Psar Touch village. Police arrested the suspect immediately and took her to the police station for questioning and case preparation following the legal procedure.
