Kiwi MARK MILLIN Booked for Road Rage in Siem Reap

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Good. Glad to hear you are not in jail.
To ask to get it taken down you should message clutchcargo or username taken.
Maybe more successful if you request rather than demand.
Usually published news is fair game here.

Interesting that this seems to be another case when not having your passport on you can make things more difficult. I mean sure- best to not assault people but...not saying violence is justified but anyone who has lived here knows what c*nts some drivers can be, and when someone has just endangered your life could be easy to lose the plot.
Passport thing seems like another way KOW is becoming more like LOS in the bad ways- but none of the good ways.

I didn’t assault anyone. I took his phone and keys so he could not drive away and he kicked me and I put him down.

Police held me for two nights until I paid $300 to drive me home to get the passport. Fucking corrupt cops

Should they be white when wearing sandals? Asking for a friend.

Actually I think, from enlarging the pic, they are jandals (aussie = thongs, uk = flipflops) not sandals. This of course makes the crime more serious, and the real issue is wearing socks with jandals regardless of sock colour. Its that almost obscene split toe thing....yuk.

Hot-headed man threatens another driver with gun

A motorist has come under fire online after a clip went viral, showing him carrying a gun to threaten another driver for honking the horn at him on a road in Bang Krui district, Nonthaburi, on Friday.

The two-minute clip showed a white Honda Accord successfully cutting in front of a vehicle on a congested two-lane road in Bang Kruai at around 6pm. The driver of the second car honked the horn in protest.

The Honda driver continued to drive but abruptly applied brakes twice even though there was no car in front of him in what was seen as a deliberate attempt to get the second car to rearend him...

All charges dropped now take this down

It only costs 3000 riel to have a copy shop photocopy, in color, the main passport page and latest EOS page and have them laminated back to back in plastic. Carry that instead of your passport which will be destroyed in a sweaty pocket or in the rain. Original passport is usually only needed when going to the embassy or for leaving as collateral

Why did it take you so long to call someone to bring $300 or your passport?
