The King has pardoned Kem Sokha?

This just popped up on Facebook from Sam Raisnys FB page, can one of our Khmer posters translate for us please?

Kem Sokha Granted Royal Pardon at HE’s Request

King Norodom Sihamoni pardoned deputy opposition leader Kem Sokha at the request of Prime Minister HE on Friday, absolving him of a conviction for refusing to appear in court for questioning over a related “prostitution” case involving his alleged mistress.

Mr. Sokha was sentenced in September to five months in jail for refusing to appear at the Phnom Penh Municipal Court as a witness in a case widely derided as a politically motivated effort by the government to muzzle the opposition.

My son is not a Khmer poster here, but he is bilingual. He says that your understanding is correct, I.e. Kem Sokha has been pardoned. A bit late now with the translation I'm afraid.

Thanks Taa, a few of the Khmers at work have confirmed as well, so I went looking and found the CD article.
