Phnom Penh: On March 27 at 10:30 pm, two suspects on a motorbike tried to snatch a phone from a man in a tuk tuk near the Peace Palace in Sangkat Metapheap, Phnom Penh.
One of the thieves, Sun Heng, 25 years old, who used to be a 2nd year student at Western University and was also a monk, was injured seriously on his left leg during the robbery attempt. Unfortunately, the other thief managed to make his getaway on the motorcycle.
The suspects were driving their motorbike on Russian Street in the direction form east to west, when they tried to grab a phone from a male passenger in a tuktuk, who was talking on his phone while driving along. But the victim fought back, hanging on to his phone, and there was a big struggle, causing the tuk tuk to overturn and the thief's motorbike to fall down. The thief on the back of the bike broke his his left leg and was arrested immediately, while the driver escaped.
The police took the injured suspect to hospital and took his motorbike down to the police station.

Another of those Rickshaw's roll over. I'll never enter one of them!
Hope the "monk" is in big pain and that the victim and flip tuk driver is doing ok.
