Got nu clue why they are standing there to begin with. They dont direct the traffic more then blocking the small roads down on the sides. It just moves alot slower.

There was a broken down vehicle, or a similar obstruction stopping traffic.

They were performing a regular and helpful public service.

When the bridge gets congested, drivers take all side routes to get to it fastest. The police handle it well, and it's all on camera.

Makes sence.

Think it was that day a truck was waiting to get towed on other side of bridge. Were buying a coffee on corner and observed it.

A sitting duck in other words.
I would like details about the driver and vehicle involved in the incident.
The driver should be covering his medical bills unless it was a provincial vehicle that mowed him down.
What a haunting picture to see him lying prone in the street after some fella put out some orange cones to keep others from finishing him off.
It is more dangerous to direct traffic than kick in the door of a meth lab.
He is so lucky he did not hit his head on the pavement .

A hi-viz fluorescent vest might be useful in future.

Does wearing that really work in Cambodia? If that’s really true, I’d wear it just to keep from being mowed over on the sidewalk (or lack of). Anyone care to confirm?

Amazing/Sad/Unfortunate when someone is injured an there is no hospital nearby and you need travel to another country to get treatment>
Kampot to PP is only like 3 + hours
