Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): At 9:30 pm on June 2, 2021, a shocking case occurred when a man on a motorcycle chased a Camary car after seeing his fiancé riding with a Chinese man, in front of K&S Restaurant along Street 432 in Sangkat Boeung Trabek, Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh.

When he arrived at the scene, the motorcyclist stopped in front of the car, took off his helmet, and attacked the Camry before climbing on the roof. The woman, who was riding in the car with the Chinese man, came out to talk to the man to calm him down.


The motorcyclist told local authorities that he and the woman who was in the car with the Chinese man were engaged to be married, but the wedding was postponed due to Covid 19. His fiancé went to work in a private company, officially leaving work at 5pm, but she often worked overtime and went drinking with her boss and workmates until late at night.

On the day of the incident, the woman told him that she would be free about 9 pm today, because she had a small meal and a meeting with her fellow workers. Waiting too long, the man contacted the woman, and rode his motorcycle to the meeting location, where he saw the Chinese boss in the car patting his fiancée on the cheek, which made him see red, so he attacked the car.


After the incident, the local authorities intervened at the scene for both parties to negotiate and then they all left the scene.
