Two More Imported Cases of COVID-19 Reported
AKP Phnom Penh, October 05, 2020 --

Cambodia detected two more cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) – all imported – bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 280.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning, the two new patients are a 27-year-old French national coming from France via Singapore, and a 34-year-old Indian woman coming from India. They both arrived in Cambodia on Sept. 20 and were tested positive for the deadly virus only on their second test. They have been admitted to Siem Reap Provincial Referral Hospital and Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh, respectively.

Where are these people getting covid, second test?
Negative before flying negative on arrival?

Perhaps do a little research into the PCR test, and you will have your answer.

Probably caught the virus months ago and the second test is picking up the antibodys, it's just hit and miss which test will show up positive

Ive read also about lots of false positives.

Is the PCR test here different than elsewhere
But you are correct in saying antibodies, I meant small amounts of DNA left over from possibly months ago

Another COVID-19 Case Recovered
AKP Phnom Penh, October 06, 2020 --

Cambodia's Ministry of Health announced this morning that another patient of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been cured, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 276.

The figure represents 98.57 percent of the total confirmed cases of 280, pointed out the ministry's press release issued this morning.

According to the same source, the new cured patient is a 28-year-old Chinese man coming from the Philippines via South Korea. He has been allowed to be discharged after being tested negative twice consecutively.
