Are there any Coronavirus cases in PP yet?
Re: Information on Coronavirus in Cambodia from 8 March 2020
That's a rhetorical question, right?
The case of three Chinese nationals living in Sen Sok district are not cases of Covid-19, say Phnom Penh authorities (March 06, 2020 10:24 am)

(Phnom Penh): Phnom Penh Municipal Spokesman, Met Meas Pheakdey, has informed the public via media that three Chinese men living in a Borey in Sen Sok do not have the coronavirus disease.
Phnom Penh Municipal Governor Khuong Sreng ordered Sen Mony Municipality and health officials, as well as local authorities, to inspect the homes of three Chinese nationals.
After questioning, the experts concluded that there was no connection to Covid-19, and the team recommended the above three Chinese to be hygienic when meeting their friends.
However, these three Chinese men, who come from the disease area in China, have symptoms such as a cough, runny nose, 38 °fever, and shortness of breath.
Mr. Meas Pheakdey said that in this case, the health department will continue to monitor the three nationals above. Moreover, in relation to the health of the people in Phnom Penh, especially in Covid-19, the governor was very careful and always ready to take action.
City Hall spokesman urges and urges citizens not to believe in unsubstantiated information that could lead to misunderstandings like this and other cases, and please do not continue Distribute unsubstantiated information, which in turn has shocked people.
Re: Information on Coronavirus in Cambodia from 8 March 2020
Yeh, they went to the house of the Chinese looked around and couldn’t see any viruses hiding under the bed, or in the cupboards,
No virus here !!!!!,
No virus here !!!!!,
Re: Information on Coronavirus in Cambodia from 8 March 2020
Until we start seeing tuk tuk drivers dying in their rides, it's basically nothing to see here. They are, after all, mostly in high risk groups (unhealthy lifestyles, lots of public contact, etc.). I fully believe it is here but ofc, no proof other than unsubstantiated rumors. Wash your hands

PHNOM PENH (Reuters) - Cambodia has found three British nationals infected with the coronavirus on a tourist boat on the Mekong River, bringing its tally of cases to five, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.
A 73-year old British tourist and his 69-year old wife on the boat, which the ministry identified as Viking Cruise Journey, docked in Kampong Cham province, north of the capital, Phnom Penh, tested positive on Wednesday, the ministry said.
A 65-year old British woman from the boat had tested positive on Monday, the ministry said in a statement.
The tourist vessel had traveled up the Mekong river from neighboring Vietnam, it said.
Cambodia had earlier reported two virus infections in a Cambodian and a Chinese citizen. The Chinese man recovered and went home.
The ministry said 61 people from the vessel had tested negative and had been put in isolation on land and were being monitored.
The British Embassy in Cambodia did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Re: Information on Coronavirus in Cambodia from 8 March 2020
Spoke with a friend yesterday and he works with the guy that owns that cruise.
Apparently they asked 5 British to be tested prior to the cruise 3 where negative but two woman (the 65yr old and another one) didn't want to be tested..
They should have told them if you don't get the test you don't go on the cruise... Now the whole cruise is fcked...

I don't know why anyone would want to go on a cruise ship of any kind now. They are nothing but floating pitre dishes for bacteria and viruses.
