Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On April 12, 2021, the Phnom Penh Authority revealed the locations that are locked down to provide comfort to the citizens. Below is the lockdown location map showing the villages of Sastr Meanchey, Sen Sok and Porsenchey:

you can be sure that they expect good optics
after all they have the benefit of the rest of the world's hindsight
to at least make it look like they're doing a good job

Based on projection of course. As HE mentioned in his speech 2 days ago, he'd rather assuming it's coming than not, so that every one can prepare (for the worst).

70 locations in Sihanoukville have been reopened after they were temporarily closed due to Covid-19 infections.
Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk): The Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration has decided to terminate the lockdown of the condominium building housing Atlantic Casino staff, on Street 200, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville after no Covid 19 infections were found on the night of April 12, 2021.
Although it was allowed to reopen, the Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province advised the site owners or managers to strictly allow the "3 protection and 3 no" measures of Samdech Techo HE, Prime Minister of Cambodia and the instructions Of the Ministry of Health.
Kheang Phearum, spokesman for Sihanoukville Provincial Hall, told Fresh News that to date, 70 locations have been reopened after being no longer associated with Covid 19.

#1 son is indeed a very well educated man. Just the man to take charge of a viral pandemic. I just hope he keeps a close eye on the economy at the same time.
