This seems like a bad idea.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 4:03 pm Cambodia Announces to Stop Quarantine at Border
AKP Phnom Penh, March 07, 2021 --
Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HE has announced to end quarantine at the Cambodia-Thailand border as the situation of COVID-19 community transmission in the neighbouring country is now under control.
In his voice message shared this afternoon, the Premier underlined that the new move concerns those with normal health condition, but those with suspected symptoms; they are not allowed to go inside the country; they need to be quarantined at the border.
"We do not abandon quarantine, just convert from a large-scale one at the border to respective villages/communes/provinces," emphasised Samdech Techo HE, advising all the provinces to have their own quarantine centres.
Moreover, he reconfirmed that temperature screening and health check at the border checkpoints need to continue.

Well you can't blame people to want the vaccine that is available and it has been tested, more so it's got the go ahead from the world health organization, where as the Chinese vaccine has not been approved and only to be used in an emergency situation. I do know of the countries that have been involved with it's progress.
Well I read now the AstraZeneca has been suspended in the capital, how silly, but then again nothing surprise's me here, next we will read about this, and the AstraZeneca vacation has been made available for the Chinese.

PREY VENG COVID OUTBREAK:
People in Peam Ro asked to have samples tested after coming in contact with a COVID-19 Positive physician
Khmer Times
Prey Veng provincial administration has called on people who were in direct and indirect contact with a physician at a private clinic in Peam Ro district who tested positive for COVID-19 to be tested for the virus.
The call was made after Im Sophy, a physician working at Neak Loeung Referral Hospital in Prey Veng province – and the owner of the Im Sophy Maternity Clinic – tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday after being involved in the February 20 community Incident.
Sophy, 50, was admitted to Prey Veng Provincial Hospital today and diagnosed with COVID-19.
The provincial administration said those who came in contact with the physician since February 25th should cooperate with the authorities and health officials and be tested at Neak Loeung Referral Hospital in the province.
It said that those who are not involved in the incident but have symptoms such as cold, fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat or similar symptoms, should go to the hospital or health centre near where they live or report it to the authorities.

Just reading a few of the last post's don't bode well, first no quarantine at borders (open the floodgates of the first defense). Then outbreak in another provence, a physician working at Neak Loeung Referral Hospital, now the health authority asks who may have had contact to go to the authorities of hospitals, where the infected may have got the virus from in the first place.

^^
Getting a bit close to home in Daun Penh. Already the Positano Hotel on st144 has been under quarantine for a week or so and then last night, Mrs Cargo tells me they closed a Salon in the same street after another covid finding. Next to the Singapore Frog Restaurant further down st144 from corner st13 near Kandal Market.
