As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Cambodia Breaking News (Phnom Penh): On October 3, 2019, at 12:00 pm, a 34-year-old Indian man, SHAIKH HASIBUL, went to the Investigation and Procedure Office at the Immigration Department in Phnom Penh asking for help to send him back to his country.

The Indian man has visited Cambodia three times, and the last time he arrived was on May 23, 2019, through the Tropeang Kreal border gate with Laos. His visa expired on June 22, 2019, and he didn't have money to renew it. He doesn't have a job or any income at all.

Finally, he decided to go to the Cambodian immigration authorities to ask them to send him home.

The Immigration office is complaining now - too many are wanting free bed & breakfast. So many forms to fill in leaves no time for hammocks, mangos and KTV...
