Indian Man Robbed on the Way to Phnom Penh Airport
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News:An Indian national in a tuktuk was robbed at 6:30 pm on November 17, 2018 at the foot of the 7 January bridge, Teuk Laak 1, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh.
The victim, 49-year-old Mr Chakkar Pahi, was taking a tuktuk from his guesthouse, the Ly Hour Lodge in Khan Daun Penh, to Phnom Penh International Airport, where he was due to fly to Thailand at 8:55 pm on November 17, 2018. While traveling along the Kampuchea Krom Boulevard, the tuktuk was overtaken by two men on a motorbike, who snatched the victim's bag from his grasp and rode off into the night. The bag contained the man's passport and US$1000 cash.
The police were notified and the victim has filed a complaint.
