Illegal Building Site Worker Electrocuted

Phnom Penh: On August 17, 2018, an unidentified man was seriously injured by electrocution while working on the construction of an illegal apartment building in Snoul Village, Sangkat Dangkor, Dangkor District, Phnom Penh.

The victim was buried in sand while an ambulance was called, and he was taken to hospital for treatment rapidly. He was severely shocked, but it seems that he will live.

Following the accident, officials arrived to check the scene, and they said that the construction site was not authorized by the authorities and should be demolished. The owner of the building had left the site before the police arrived.
