Cambodia News Battambang: On 19 June 2022 police cracked down on a rental room in Battambang City, Battambang Province at 15:45hrs, following the guidance of Major General Sat Kimsan, Commissioner of Battambang Provincial Police to investigate a case of illegal storage, trafficking and distribution of drugs.

According to the report of the Battambang City Police, one suspect, Chap China alias Chi, male, 22 years old, was arrested with 3 bags of methamphetamine (ICE) weighing 24.11 grams, 1 mobile phones and some drug paraphernalia.
Chap China confessed to committing the crimes, and upon police questioning, he also gave the name of his partner in crime, a 35 year old man named Chou Sophan, alias Chrouch, who resides in Otakham 2 Village,Battambang Province. The evidence seized during second raid included: 1 bag of methamphetamine (ICE) weighing 6.47 grams (pure drug), 1 bag of ketamine (KETAMINE) weighing 3.87 grams (pure drug), mobile phone 1 hand (old), 1 scale for weighing drugs for sale, some equipment for sharing drugs for sale.

Police seized a total of 4 bags of methamphetamine (ICE) weighing 30.58 grams and 1 bag of ketamine (KETAMINE) weighing 3.87 grams. At this time, the suspects and the exhibits are being prepared to be sent to court for further legal proceedings.

I would say these are the "normal" type of drug dealers around Cambodia.
