Australian Expat Hugh Robertson Arrested with Meth in Sihanoukville
Re: Australian Expat Hugh Robertson Arrested with Meth in Sihanoukville
There's no shortage of errand boys in and out of jails. There's always a fixer either inmate or guard that will organize these sorts of things for a % fee of what ever money is going which ever direction. Inmates are assisted by various NGOs, family members and embassies, it's possible someone forked out the required hundreds to cover a renewal rather than wait to fork out even more for an overstay.kiwiincambodia wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 11:17 am Brings me back to an old question....
How did he stay up to date on his visas while in prison? Did he need a visa to be legal while in prison or did he have to pay back visas (or worse overstay fines) once out?
If the later how could a recent prison inmate afford such costs?
It's more likely the methpat from Sihanoukville is here illegally but he's not the first to come out and stay.

When he got out of jail, he said he needed a passport and exit visa.

Correct. From what I saw, upon release prisoners go to the court registar who hand them their passport and other belongings seized at time of arrest together with a court letter ordering immigration police to forgo any owed overstay fine. That is usually followed by immediate deportation. Wether they are blacklisted for any length of time or allowed to come back depends on their trial sentencing.prahocalypse now wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 11:28 am When he got out of jail, he said he needed a passport and exit visa.
I believe the remaining with a visa extension option was deemed illegal some years back.

So, he would have got his phones, Apple guest house key, sun visor, and Angkor beer polo shirt back. Would they also have given him his meth back?Barang_doa_slae wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 1:16 pm

For the phones it is my understanding.
Regarding the drugs, KOW being the well chosen name it is, also allows me to reply to this smart ass jokingly question of yours by the affirmative. The topbloke I was caring for had apparently hidden some in a glued book that was still at the court registar as not included as an evidence during the trial. Since I had noticed how uncomfortable he was prior to going and later on his face going livid while retrieving a torn note book, after leaving the premises, I asked him about it. He admitted he had hidden drugs in the cover and thought he was about to be arrested again. It later on turned out that the friend he had been busted with whom had been released a few weeks earlier helped himself with them while retrieving his own belongings (btw he must have been really motivated to do that right under some court staffers nose). Now please don’t ask me how come Cambodian court stored their personal belongings in the same box.

Why is Ned so upset. from the various tales I've seen relating to him online it wouldn't surprise me if he was an ex-customer. What gives Ned? got ripped off buying bath salts of Huw?

I saw the damage Huw did to the girls at Sorya Mall with his dealing,i witnessed him hit girls at Sorya Mall. I dislike the guy with a vengance, along with any other drug dealers that come here and completely fuck peoples lives, simple as that.angkorjohn wrote: ↑Thu Sep 13, 2018 11:47 amWas that while you were buying a gram off himprahocalypse now wrote: ↑Thu Sep 13, 2018 11:41 amned kelly wrote: ↑Thu Sep 13, 2018 10:44 amYou seem to know plenty about this scum.
