It's been a while. I seem to remember these being almost a weekly occurrence a few years ago.

Either a lot of luck or not much of a crash.

They used to crash all the time. If it is still the same company, it is Chinese and had its license revoked in China due to safety issues.
I just did my first balloon ride in Myanmar; all the pilots are British and they have an excellent safety record.

There was a balloon crash in NZ a few years ago. It hit high tension lines and everyone was fried. Turned out the pilot was stoned all the time, he should have been higher.

Saw two of them in Van Vieng, Laos. They went up and down for sunrise and sunset, beautiful scenery. The pilots may not have been British, but did a good job as well. Hanno, do you know since when they have been operating in Myanmar?
