50 Homes Destroyed in Chak Angre Leu Fire, No Deaths or Serious Injuries Reported
Phnom Penh: 50 houses in two villages at Chak Angre Leu were destroyed by fire at 8:40 pm on April 14, 2016. The cause had not been identified yet, said Chak Angre Leu authorities.
According to the report, the authorities have spent three hours to work on it, using 25 fire engines to stop the terrible flames. However, there haven't been any reports of death or serious injuries from the fire yet.
Among the 50 houses, 19 are in Prek Takong village and 31 houses are in Prek Tanu village.
Care packages are being given to the residents in the area who have lost their homes.

I know those neighborhoods well. Hopefully the crates of pilchards and mosquito nets will alleviate some of these citizen's plights.
