Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A 52-year-old German man, EDGAR NORBERT BECK ,was sent to the Department of Immigration on September 17, 2018, at 9 am, on street 158, Sangkat Beung Kok, Phnom Penh.
Immigration authorities have questioned the German man and ascertained that he came to Cambodia in April 2015 through Phnom Penh International Airport. He had no passport, no job and lived on the street.

He has been detained at the Department of Immigration for legal procedures.

Sad. I can't think of a worse place to be if you're homeless, down and out and mentally ill. I'd be on the first plane outta here if I felt my life was going in that direction.

I dunno, at least it's warm, rather that than a winter on the streets of Chicago. After all, our social care, health care safety nets for the down and outs ain't much better

It's not always the case. There are plenty of public buildings in the major cities that have central heating, such as Metro stations, where the homeless can congregate and not get kicked out by cops or security. Also, there is some kind of unwritten law that says when it is really cold, you can go into stores or businesses to escape the freezing conditions even if you aren't going to spend any money and noone will bother you.

However, if you pass out somewhere outdoors when you're drunk, you probably screwed because chances are you'll be covered in snow and then nobody will find your (well-preserved) corpse until spring.

Another point is that Russian chicks can be really cruel in that when you organise a date with them in the wintertime, they will specifically ask you to meet them somewhere outdoors, such as outside a Metro station, and then intentionally turn up twenty minutes late. It's a test. Presumably the Russian chicks think that if a guy is prepared to wait outside for her in below freezing conditions until such time as his cock could drop off from frostbite, he's a keeper.

A major problem with people who have reached that stage is that they have broken the sound barrier and are deaf to external advice or the wise whispers of an internal voice. Even if they know where they are and survival mode has kicked in, they are still lost.
