Cambodian health officials had cleared the woman on Friday to travel on to Malaysia, Reuters reported.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/c ... 771419002/An 83-year-old American woman who disembarked from Holland America's MS Westerdam in Cambodia has tested positive for coronavirus in Malaysia, according to the Malaysian Ministry of Health, reports Bloomberg and Reuters.
The Westerdam departed Hong Kong on Feb. 1 and was scheduled to disembark in Shanghai on Saturday before coronavirus gripped mainland China and forced itinerary changes. The ship was turned away from multiple countries, despite the cruise line reiterating there were no cases of coronavirus aboard.

The Malaysians fucked up the test:

I guess all the guest from the Westerdam who haven't left yet will have a hard time leaving Cambodia.
Or maybe I should say, enter the countries around Cambodia. The will probably have an extension of 14 days to prove they're not infected.

According to reports Nobody had it on the boat, nobody had it in Cambodia ,how long after infection does it appear in tests and you feel unwell?
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

Re: Holland America Cruise Ship to Dock at Sihanoukville
A recent study came up with a mean of 3 days between infection and symptoms. But a range of 0-24 days. The 24 days is questioned though, it was just one case and re-infection is suspected being the cause of that number.
This particular lady was lucky she become symptomatic on the plane to Kuala Lumpur... So no worries, she was feeling great until they started descending into KUL.
