Too right. These namby pamby liberal vegan ideas that violence is bad only date from about 150 years. Men are hardwired to use violence as a fix-all solution, read the news from any country in the world. Maybe she didn't deserve a kicking, maybe she did, we weren't there so let's not judge if we dont know the story,.

I see some of you are being sarcastic, but some of you are serious.

He tried to kick her in the head, but she blocked with her arms. He could have caused her serious injury. Whatever you believe, this should never happen.

I predict if this continues, they will break up. Then you can all feel sorry for him.

Foreigners can see that tuk tuk drivers are obnoxious, and that police are there to scam people. But of coarse when Cambodian men go home to their wives they flick a switch, and are good, completely reasonable people.

Notice the title 'boyfriend beats wife.' Which is it?

One can only hope you do something that offends the wife beater that was videoed. Or do you believe that violence is hardwired in men only against women? Not often does one get to know everything they need to about a poster after 6 short posts, you are exceptional. I pity your children or spouse in the unlikely event you have any.

Any man who engages in or condones violence against women is in possession of one of the most repellent character traits a man can have. There is absolutely no justification for violence against women and those who engage in these acts, or support them, are nothing but disgusting Neanderthals. Whether it be low self esteem, poor gender role models, inadequate problem solving skills...whatever, if you're a man who believes this is acceptable behavior, you need to talk to someone. I hope your daughter doesn't have to contend with a violent partner herself.

Unfortunately, even if she does break up, she will get back together with him again (and again). Even couples that divorce over violence get back together. It’s part of the Khmer way (of love). Videotape and post all you want, it won’t change their ideas in the immediate now.

Not saying it’s right (or wrong). It just is.

Similar to wishing for honest cops, or for everyone to drive with courtesy, or not having a dual pricing system in general.
