More monks defrocked for behaving badly:

Two young monks were defrocked and expelled from their pagoda in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district after they were found to be drunk on their way back from a karaoke bar, police said yesterday.

Third Lieutenant Sok Savuth, a penal police officer in Stung Meanchey commune, said the two monks were Sok Piseth, 25, and Sok Long, 18, both from the Non Mony pagoda, more commonly known as the Stung Meanchey pagoda.

“They were monks, but they did not respect the discipline and the regulations of Buddhist monks,” Third. Lt. Savuth told Khmer Times yesterday.

“They took off their robes and snuck out of the pagoda at night to go drinking and to go sing at a karaoke bar along with a group of their friends, who are ordinary people, in Phnom Penh.” ...

.......thats cause Cambodia is not a Buddhist country and there monks are so far from Buddhist its not funny...
Cambodia is a bastardized version of Hinduism CROSS Buddhism, they are far removed from Mahayana path as they say, most the country is a waist when it comes to "monks" and "Buddhism" you cant blame them look at there history they have always bastardized Buddhism with Hindi bullshit go look at angkor wat.... ever since the kiong desecreated the Buddhist statues and chopped there heads of and replaced them with hindo gods.... you have Buddhists in Cambodia worshiping lord shiva.... it makes zero fucken sense and only in Cambodia does this shit happen.
Honestly as a Buddhist and having worked in a monetary in Tibet i can tell you 100% Cambodia has zero to do with Buddhism but they would have you think otherwise. Fuck me even the phnom phen museum don't know if its Hindu or Buddhist... thanks India and the old khmer empire !!!!!
