13 year old girl locked up and forced to have sex with older man in return of $1000

Phnom Penh: An old man and three Cham women arrested on 3 August in Russey Keo district when police was rescuing a 13 years old girl who was being locked up, detained and forced to have sex with older man in return of $1000.

Mr. Keo Thea, the director of anti-human trafficking and juvenile protection department in Phnom Penh said, after police received the complaint from the victim, the general of police department in Phnom Penh and the prosecutor of Phnom Penh court allowed the raid in one of Cham family in Russey Keo district. During the raid, police managed to arrest 2 women and an old man who were involved in this crime and also rescued a young girl who was being locked up with chain in the house for sexual slavery.

Mr. Keo Thea confirmed that, the first arrested suspect name Chea Sros, female, 32 years old and the second one name Chea Tina, female, 27 years old, the aunt of the victim.

The older man who paid to have sex with her name Chhem Chayley, 36 years old, recently they are being questioned at the Anti-human trafficking and Juvenile protection. Police is preparing the document to send them to the court.

The police who involved in the raid said, in the beginning of 2015, the aunt of the victim seduced her and sold her to the older man for $1000. Then she seduced her again to become the older man concubine, however she refused, as a result, her aunt locked her up and detained in the house. In addition she always had been forced to have sex with the man mentioned above. Fortunately on 31 July 2015, the victim managed to run away, so she went to the neighbor house and asked them to bring her to police station. Then she filed a complaint which led to the arrest of those people involved.

Police confirmed that the girl is only 13 years old and she is an orphan. She lives with her aunt.

The girl should be aloud to spend a couple of hours with the accused tied up in a room and an assortment of power tools at her disposal.

If Sharia Law were applied in this case, the victim would most likely be the one most severely punished unfortunately. I do like Kung-Fu Hillbilly's suggestion though.

Poor girl, this literally makes me feel sick, how could anyone do this to a child, especially a family member
