Govt to install surveillance quipment

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Please do not read my posts as I would be angry. I am not angry, I am confused. Clearly I have misunderstood a lot of things on this forum and am trying to understand.

I thought category separation was for keeping things clearly isolated to make the forums easier to read and participate in. I thought moderators were for making sure that is enforced. I thought topic subjects were for making it clear at the beginning what the thread is about, alas making it easier for the moderator to act accordingly.

Now that I have been told that I am wrong I am very interested in making it right. Maybe I too can post squirrel balls in every semi-serious thread I encounter, it actually sounds like fun.

sounds like you have a real fondness for order.

and yes- you come across as a very angry chap.
i am sure the rules of the pagoda are quite taxing- but you do not have to take it out on us.

perhaps you should learn a little tolerance for those who post "squirrel balls"

and lose the judgemental passive aggressive attitude.

it is only a forum, maybe start serious threads yourself if you cannot stand a modicum of levity.

or go somewhere that has heavy moderation.

thai visa springs to mind.

Not looking for heavy moderation or dictatorships as you claimed. Just looking for interesting threads that do not turn into cat photo contests after two responses.

It is only a forum, you are right. In my world forums are for discussing. That's all I'm here for and that's all I'm trying to do. It feels meaningless because when my posts are already drowned by nonsense before even being written I know that nobody will actually read and respond in the same manner as I have written my post.

I'm not passive aggressive and apologise for coming off like it. It could be related to English being my third learned language.

Yep.

Seriously, if you saw my face you'd be laughing for calling me angry. I'm literally dancing around naked here in the pagoda to some funky tunes. Got grandpa rapping in Pali outside. Shit is so cash.
