Young Cambodian girl was afraid that her husband would divorce with her, so she killed a man and robbed his kid to please her husband.

Sihanoukville : A young Cambodian girl was arrested by police in Prey Veng province, after she murdered a man and robbed his kid to please her husband who threatened to divorce her. This incident occurred on 13 May 2015.
General Chhoun Narin told Dep News that the murderer who killed the man was arrested in Prey Veng in the evening and she was being brought to Sihanooukville police station.

The murderer names Put Rotha, 24 years old, Farmer, living in village #1, district #1, Sihanoukville province. The murderer confessed that her husband threatened to divorce her if she can’t produce kid.
Police confirmed that, on 11 May 2015, around 11:00 am at Kbal Chhay , district #1, Sihanoukville city, the above woman killed a man names Phal by hitting him at the head with digging hoe while he was lying on the hammock. At that time, the man was completely drunk. Then, she grabbed the kid, milk bottle and fled the scene. The victim was brought to the provincial hospital and died later around 5:00 pm in the evening. The murder fled to Prey Veng province on the same day around 8:00 pm. She was arrested by the police on 13 May 2015.

General Chhoun Narin said that this achievement could happen because of the well cooperation from the police in Prey Veng. Recently the suspect girl was brought to the police station in Sihanoukville.

Yes, I was thinking the same. Sometimes loved ones and family can be the absolute pits. It's very hard to tell with that hat on. It could well be that she has serious mental problems rather than using it as a disguise. If she had been wearing that hat because she was desperate to have a baby, family pressure to bear a child could not have helped.

Sometime it might be the man problem that they don't have kid. However, since they don't go to see the doctor, they don't know and the man always put the blame to the woman.

Or desperate. Still, I remember many cases where a woman or a man has become desperate to have a child. Lots of family and social pressure to perform. One is reminded of that 'Apocalypto' scene. But to murder a man for his child is very extreme behavior.
