nope he gets arrested and thrown out of Thailand + Cambodiagavinbrisbane wrote:What Audacity!!
Morally defunct, I know people who are "thalidomide" sufferers, can't get the pension, certainly don't beg, never asked for a cent and yet have spent thousands trying to get treatment to no avail.... They have got more class and character than this gimp..
He comes from a western country (to a 3rd word country - to beg), posts about his adventures on Facebook, talk about the shallow end of the gene pool....
That seriously annoys me....
Am I looking at this from the wrong perspective fellas?????????

http://pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/1470 ... st-police/He also received 50,000TBH from the organisation in order to get a flight home
However authorities soon discovered Holst had used the cash to party with bar girls in Pattaya
Pattaya’s Tourist Police have requested Immigration to deport a German man who has been begging for money on Pattaya Beach during the day and using the money to purchase drink and prostitutes at night.
Mr. Holst was arrested by the Tourist Police in the early hours of Thursday and was then arrested again on Thursday afternoon. Initially no formal complaints were made against Mr. Holst which is why he was released until it was made clear that he was being dishonest about his financial status.

So I'm the only one concerned if he had a nice flight?

I am probably closer to the Thalidomide situation than what most people would believe/realize, so have quite an in-depth understanding of it here (at least in Australia more particularly - Dr Theodore McBride & Merrel Dow Pharmaceuticals etc.).
I appreciate your sentiments....
But yes, this other bloke has me a little fired up to say the least, although I had seem similar scams in London when I was there.
It is just the principle of the matter... I hate scumbags!!

Yes, GM,
Maybe he will have a seat on the outer wing with no 'proper' restraints!
A bit of chewing gum and one of those snares should hold him on for a little while, don't you think?

Hope he got an exit row. He could really use the extra leg room.

What does this have to do with Thalidomide? He's too young to have been affected by that and it looks more like a congenital condition to me.

I was merely drawing an analogy;
A "congenital condition/disease" is something that exists prior to or at birth, your argument is negligible JB... with due respect.....
Ruth A. Hannon (2010). Porth pathophysiology : concepts of altered health states (1st Canadian ed.). Philadelphia, PA: Wolters Kluwer Health/Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. p. 128. ISBN 9781605477817.
That was not my point in any event... I am sure we could all pull out bits and pieces of medical 'knowledge', the end result is the same, someone has a disability... not my point.
This idiot done what he did, hasta la vista baby (to him).....Hopefully not & hopefully not there!!

Still looks like Elephantiasis to me. Saw plenty of cases in Africa.John Bingham wrote:What does this have to do with Thalidomide? He's too young to have been affected by that and it looks more like a congenital condition to me.
