Update SR:
Crossing easy as pie,

I tell ya, National highway 6 is a disgrace to the country, Just drove around 2,900 kms in Thailand and even the back roads up north and thru Essan are in better condition.

Elections soon, BUT seems He is the ONLY person running as no posters for anyone else

1 hour ago we exited on our way to Bangkok for a few days. No problems and the lines were not too bad.

Route 6 is 100x better than it was and it bypasses a load of the bottleneck towns that used to delay things. You can go SR to PP in a couple of hours now.

i've driven route 6 from Poi Pet to SR since 2004
2 years ago it was better from the 68 turn off to SR, (admit it beats it when it was dirt ) LOL
will let ya know after a few days what its like between SR and Kampong Chan.
