French and Nigerian Overstayers Deported to Thailand from Poipet
There have long been theories that Cambodian Immigration authorities send foreigners who overstay their visas across the border to Thailand. That definitely seems to be the case here, with one man sent from Kep to the Poipet border in order to deport him to Thailand.
Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia News: On March 11, 2019, at 1 pm, Lieutenant Kao Kimlin, director of the Department of Investigation and Procedure of the Immigration Department, collaborated with Poipet police to deport two foreign men from the Poipet international border crossing to Thailand.
1. A French man, SIODMAK CHRISTIAN VINCENT, 67-year-old, was arrested on March 08, 2019, at 01:50 pm, in Kep for overstaying his visa.
2. A Nigerian man, ONU CHUKWUMA CHRISTIAN, 32-year-old, was arrested on February 18, 2019, at 03:25 pm, for overstaying his visa.

sorry dont buy it, an just cause they are kicked out of Camboida does not mean they are allowed entry to Thailand.
BEFORE Thailand will admit anyone that have the right to ask to see 20,000 baht,a ticket out and a gh/hotel reservations,
dont have these, you can be refused entry
and yes it has been reported in various media, more so in the last 6 months thna ever before
NOT just land borders but flying in as well

If they just let the french doctor go over the border nobody at the thai immigration will ask questions.

Which raises the question: what reason did they have to arrest him to find out he's overstayed his visa?
What circumstances led to the good doc letting his visa expire? I mean, he looks like he was on his way to work or something wearing a suit, tie and briefcase.

From what I believe, Thais have been doing it for some time now.frank lee bent wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 5:22 am how do they just decant them into Thailand?

Some of the Africans we see here originally paid an agent in Africa for the chance to ply their trade in the Thai soccer league.
A small number of those that didn't make the grade in Thailand were eventually deported to Cambodia.
Two ex-players from the Cambodian league a few seasons ago told me this is what happened to them and that when they came here, their initial monthly income was a room in Toul Kork and a sack of rice.
