Four Illegal Dredging Sites Closed by Police
Joint police force closes four illegal dredging sites in Siem Reap province

Siem Reap, Cambodia News: On Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 9:20 pm, Anti-Corruption Bureau officers, along with the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Mines and Energy, and local authorities, inspected four sand dredging sites located in Tany village, Rita Ta Ek commune, Banteay Srei district, Siem Reap province.
As the four dredging sites lack official approval from the relevant institutions, the authorities have ordered the closure of the sites until further notice. The business owners of the sites are expected to be able to resume their work once they have applied for the necessary permits.
