You give the street "urchins" way too much credit here - most of them are hopeless ruins of people. Whatever shit this guy was in; he was likely going to get bashed curfew or notDoc67 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 9:02 amWell, what's he doing out at that time? He doesn't look like someone with a job he's returning from, on foot.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 4:57 pm UPDATE
According to MCPN News social media page, the attack took place at 10:30pm on the night of 7 April.
Anyone flouting the curfew is taking big risks. The police are on major roads but the side streets, where this took place, are deserted.
The street urchins know where the road blocks are by now and a couple of calls to each can keep them updated. They will be able to whizz around the place without police interference. You will be a sitting duck.
I am home by 7.30 at the latest, and always by way of a tuk. If people try to edge closer and closer to 8pm they could find themselves high and dry at 8pm, without transport, and facing a nice walk home in the dark.
Funny no follow up reports on this so far.
