This. It wasn't suicide nor was he a member of the PFC (Pattaya Flying Club); he just needed a Tuk-tuk in a hurry.

Shortly before the incident, the Taiwanese man was heard to say "If one more tuk tuk driver asks me if I want a tuk tuk, I'm gonna go through the roof".

It is posted on several Khmer news sources that police are still investigating whether the case is a suicide.

They are still not sure whether the man jumped or was pushed. Police reported a distinct lack of co-operation by the two side-by-side Chinese condos when they were first trying to determine from which building the victim had fallen; both buildings denied any knowledge of the victim.

Police also say that they are still investigating the reason for the man's fall, and trying to ascertain that he was not a victim of abduction, being held prisoner by a criminal gang.

After investigation, the case has been classed as a suicide. It is reported that before the Taiwanese man fell to his death, a friend had called for help but it was too late, and the victim had already jumped out the window.
According to the Bureau of Medical Science and Oknha Dr Nong Sovannarith, the victim died of self-destructive suicide. Currently, the body is placed at Stung Meanchey pagoda.
