Foreigner in SUV Going the Wrong Way Runs Over Motorist

Phnom Penh: A foreigner drove a Hyundai car in the wrong way then hit a MSX motorbike which caused a Cambodian man to have slightly injured. The accident happened around 9:10 pm on 02/August/2015 in front of Tonle Sap restaurant along street 94 corner street 13 in Wat Phnom Commune, Daun Penh district.

Police said, before the accident happened there was a Cambodian man drove MSX motorbike with number plate 1CX-1141 along street 13 in the direction from south to north then when he reached the place where the accident took place, there was a Hyundai car driven by a foreigner with number 2A-5105 coming from the street 94 in the direction from east to west in the wrong way hit him which caused him to have slightly injured and the motorbike got stuck under the car.

After the incident, both parties didn't manage to compromise with one another. So the police came and brought both vehicles to the police station for both parties to come to address it later.

The SUV was going the wrong way, but the bike was attempting to to the wrong way.

Red = path of car
Blue = path of moto

Is this possibly the same case? They are calling it a hit and run in the Phnom Penh Post:



A foreign man drunkenly crashed his car into a man on a motorbike in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district yesterday and fled the scene.

According to the second passenger on the moto, the car was driving into oncoming traffic.

Doubt it. It says the moto driver is 30 and I've not seen anyone over the age of 17 riding an msx.
